Tubing Bundles
Description
Series 2203 and 2204 Light Steam Traced tubing bundles are designed to protect a process fluid from freezing at ambient temperatures to –40°F using saturated steam.
Each bundle consists of:
• Single or multiple pre-insulated metal or polymer process tube(s)
• Pre-insulated metal steam tracer tube cabled with, and in constant contact with the process tube(s)
• Moisture resistant, non-wicking, inorganic fibrous glass thermal insulation
• Seamless, weather protective jacket, choice of: lead-free low temperature
FRPVC; halogen-free FRTPU; flame retardant 125°C Rated FRTPE
Designed for light tracing of process, sampling and impulse lines, Series 2202/2204 bundles are recommended for use in situations where heavy tracing will cause high temperature degradation of boil-off of the process fluids. Highly efficient and compact. These products are designed to limit the jacket temperature to a nominal surface temperature of 140°F or lower at ambient temperatures of 80°F using 400°F (232 PSIG) saturated steam.
Maximum temperature rating of Series 2201/2204 is 400°F. Operating at higher temperatures may result in deterioration of the components or changes in operational characteristics.
Higher temperature designs for tracing applications up to 1100°F are also available as Series 2212/2214. (DU20)
