Description


Motor Flat Leads (MFL) are low profile cables used as extensions to the motor. They are designed to operate at a maximum operating temperature of 450°F (232°C) and can be provided in a Flat configuration (MFL). (KP05)

Features


- MFL extension cables use a specially compounded oil resistant EPDM insulation with proven electrical properties

- MFL uses two layers of heat sealed polyimide tape over the conductor. The polyimide tape has very high dielectric strength, which allows the insulation to achieve and maintain a high level of electrical integrity

- A lead sheath is used to protect against chemical and/or gas migration. The lead sheath barrier prevents decom pression and is ideal for wells that are hot and contain high level of gases

- MFL cables can be manufactured with special armors to meet various well requirements.
